NOT GIVING YOU A SENSE OF UNCERTAINTY BY SAYING
“MAYBE” OF “IF” THERE IS A CHANGE.

Assalam alaikum,
There have been some changes made by
the Ministry of Hajj with the schedules for all pilgrims. As a result of these
changes, we have to restructure our program.
What are the changes by the Ministry of Hajj?
a) All Hujaaj
MUST leave Madinah and be in Makkah
by the 5th of Dhul Hijjah.
b) No Hujaaj
can leave Makkah to Madinah
until the morning of the 14th of Dhul Hijjah.
Because of the new schedules, two
things will happen:-
1) Makkah will be overcrowded two full days
before the Hajj.
2) Prices for Makkah hotels has gone up because of the overcrowding.
What is
HAJJ-USA decision on this?
The
following is how the program is structured to accommodate the new schedules.
1)
Our
program is scheduled to go to Makkah first, perform
Hajj, then go to Madinah
after the Hajj.
2)
Our
“group travel” is from November 18th
to December 6th, 2009
3)
For
those who will travel by themselves and NOT with the big portion of the group,
they will be instructed how to reach the group in Makkah
Hotel.
4)
Upon
arrival in Makkah, we will perform Umrah and stay in the Al-Shohada hotel
until the morning of the 23rd of November. Click here to see dates.
5)
On
the morning of the 23rd of November after Fajr,
we will leave Al-Shohada hotel and go to a hotel
close to the Jamaraat. This hotel has very clean
surroundings and it is a hotel and not a regular building. Pictures are on our
website.
6)
Whoever
wants to stay on around the Haram on the 23rd
until the afternoon, they can do so and return with the bus in the night-time.
On the 24th, we advise that everyone be together for preparation for
the Hajj which start on the 25th.
7)
Private
buses will be available WITH SPECIAL SCHEDULES to transport our Hajjis from the
hotel in Azizia to Masjid
Al-Haram for the two days (6th and 7th
of Dhul Hijjah).
8)
The
group will leave the hotel for Hajj after Fajr on the
25th of November (8th Dhul Hijjah).
9)
Hygenic
Buffet meals will be available in Al-Shohada hotel
and the 2nd hotel until the Hajj start on the 25th
of November.
10)
Luggages
will be with you until the 7th of Dhul Hijjah. From the 8th of Dhul
Hijjah until the 12th of Dhul Hijjah, you will take basic
items with you for the Hajj. This means that your big suitcases will be stored
away during the Hajj days. Instructions will be given by group leaders of how
this will be done.
What
benefits will the Hujaaj have with this schedule?
1) HAJJ-USA group will have access to
the hotel near Jamaraat during the whole Hajj. This
will be a convenience because the Hujjaaj don’t have
to stay in “Mena Camps” during the daytime (10th, 11th,
and 12th of Dhul Hijjah).
They can go to the hotel near Jamaraat, stay the
whole day, stone Jamaraat in the afternoon,
then return to the camps in the night.
2) For Tawaaf
Al-Ifadaah, our group members can go to Masjid Al-Haram, perform Al-Ifaadah, then come back to the hotel near Jamaraat, freshen up, then walk to Mena tents in the
afternoon or night-time to sleep in the tents.
3) For older people, this is very beneficial
because they can wait until the Hajj is finished on the 29th, then
they can go and perform their Tawaaf Al-Ifaadah and Tawaaf Al-Widaa conveniently.
In this way, it would not be a hassle for anyone to leave Mena during
the Hajj days and struggle in the crowd to perform Tawaaf
Al-Ifaadah.
4) The Hajj days are from the 25th
of November to the 29th of November. The Ministry of Hajj will not allow
any bus to leave Makkah and travel to Madinah until the 1st of December after Fajr salaat. This means that our Hajjis will have the
convenience of staying
in the hotel near the Jamaraat and away from the
crowded streets around Masjid Al-Haram
in preparation for the trip to Madinah.
5) The group will be
together in movements from one point to the other which will be beneficial for
young and old, strong and weak, thus minimizing the chances of getting lost.
1st Important note:
The Ministry of Hajj stipulates that all
Hajjis must arrive in the Kingdom by the 4th of Dhul
Hijjah which is the 21st of November. For
those people, who have a different schedule and will leave the USA until the
last minute (20th of November), they will stay for one day in the
Al-Shohadah hotel and then move with the group as a
team.
2nd Important Note:
The
accommodation in Al-Shohada hotel in Makkah will be 3 people in a room.
The
accommodation in the other hotel near to Jamaraat
will be 4 people in a room.
The
accommodation in Dallah Taibah
hotel in Madinah will be 4 people in a room.
For
those who request double occupancy, their accommodation will remain as two
people per room throughout the trip.
