Choosing a hotel for our Hajj Program is always challenging. After careful evaluation of the hotels, we decided that a hotel which is about 8 minutes walk would be better than to have a hotel which is very close to the Haram. Through our experience, we found that the elevators in the hotels very close to the Haram is always packed and waiting-time is at least 15 minutes. So it is better to walk the 8 minutes than to wait for 15 minutes. Also taxis and visitors are more accessible.
